I love the variety of style, tempi, rhythms and hand positions offered in this book. The pieces are relatively short and students can easily identify sequences and patterns for independent learning.

I ordered the Piano for Fun series, and after hearing me play a few of the pieces from this book and another, one student complained ,”Why do they write so much good music? It makes it impossible for me to decide what to play!” I feel the same way – these books are truly fun. This particular student is working on the Lamento de Espana, and I have had a number of great teaching opportunities already. 🙂 Love it!

My students love playing music inspired by the rhythms and sonorities of Spain. Ms. Hammond has vividly captured the artistic and emotional styles of this genre in her compositions. Students will love this collection!
